How to apply
We offer rent-free furnished accommodation to writers who wish to come to Dunedin (usually for periods of four weeks to six months) to undertake writing projects.
Applications will be open from Friday 29 November 2024 to Friday 17 January 2025 for writers interested in residencies between September 2025 and early January 2026 (length of stay can vary).
If you'd like to be considered for a residency, please email Murray Lynch at director@playmarket.org.nz and include the following information:
- your writing curriculum vitae
- an outline of the writing projects you plan to work on
- your preferred dates for a residency and whether you have flexibility
- your reasons for wanting to take up a residency in Dunedin.
